Junior High Outreach

Out-reach in the junior high school!!!
What an awesome oppertunit this has been for David and I.
We go every Thursday to a local junior high school and just love on a group of kids there that absolutely love having us there to talk to!!
This Thursday was a special day with the kids. It seems to be getting more personal and heart to heart with them! This week the Lord prompt my heart to share with them what they actually possess in Jesus and what they actually have authority over in their lives. Have you know that this group of kids have chosen to be apart of this class and know that it is a spiritual class. So anyway I just asked them if they had recieved Jesus as, not only their saviour, but their daddy. A few said yes and others responded with well I already have a daddy one and two said I have two daddys ... why do I need another? WOW! So I just explained to them that Jesus wants to be our Heavenly Father so that when our earthly father can't help us or can't be the perfect dad we need He can!!! I shared with them that my dad was an awesome father and tried to always make me happy and always do what was best for me but he could never be perfect as a dad so Heavenly Father was always there when my father couldn't be!! They understood it so well and wanted to receive Jesus as Father. So we prayed a sort prayer and then I began to explain to them about inheritance and how when some daddys pass away they leave everything they own to their children. And told them that that is what God has done for them. He has given them everything He owns and He owns everything because He made everything!! And I told them that they possess a love that is so overwhelming it can cover all evil in their school it's just a matter of showing it and bringing it to light in their lives. They asked how can we show love ... I gave them examples like complementing someone ... helping someone... and smiling at everyone. I even brought up the idea that when someone is ugly to them or someone else they can say something like.. " I know you didn't mean what you just did because you are an awesome person . I believe in you ." Other questions they began to ask were...
"why do people hate?" So I explained that when someone hasn't ever experienced love or doesn't have love then they don't know how to love so therefore they hate! But you could be the difference in their life and give them an experience with love!!

I was so excited and overwhelmed with these kids yesterday!! The blessed me alot and God made me aware of alot that I had no idea about!!

Romancing with Jesus

Hey Everyone!!
Wow! Jesus is so awesome! I can't began to tell you all the wonderful things He is doing here in Redding!! God is searching the earth ..looking for someone to love on! Will you let Him romance you today! I encourage you today to just spend some time with Jesus.. try with no music, just you and Him! See how when we allow God to speak to us in the silence of our busy lives He speaks!! In my quite time I just imagined His glory like a river and pretended like I was floating in it! The Lord can work with our imagination...He gave it to us!!! :) As I floated down this river of Glory...it became like a golden dance floor where Jesus took me hand in hand and romanced me for hours!
Here's what I wrote after my encounter with Jesus!!!

I am so in love with you, Jesus.
My heart beats the rythm of your heart.
And each beat I fall more in love with you.
Is there anywhere I can get to be totally satisfied
Or will You just keep loving me and being more than the last time.
It seems as if my heart beat is getting fast.
Does this mean yours is getting faster? Will you let it keep getting faster and faster until I fall straight into you?
There is nothing better than romancing with you and Oh how I long for it every day. When your arms are wrapped around me... I think you burn right through me. People have no idea the things you say to me and tell me. And oh the things you have called me to be. Would you tell me again ... once more. Romance me Jesus and never stop. This dance is so perfect. Please don't stop... just a few more steps! Romance Me Jesus!!

Loved -HIS lover. Royal -HIS princess. Righteous –HIS saint. Adored and wanted –HIS star. Joy -HIS happy day.

Because I believe these things and that you have won these things for me… I no longer walk in guilt, shame, or fear. I walk knowing who I am and who you have called me to be.

I have no fear of who I am because my fear of who you are overwhelms anything I could ever be!! (besides everything You are.)

IT IS ONLY IN YOUR PRESENCE I CAN REFLECT THE PERFECT IMAGE OF YOU!

Today in worship I experienced God’s presence like never before. It was as if suddenly Jesus came down and stood as a mirror in front of me. Seeing my face and knowing it was Him standing in front of me. I saw myself putting make up on and fixing my hair and everything was in perfection and done exactly how I wanted it to look. I noticed that there were no zits or blemishes or even the smallest of smallest bumps or misplaced hairs anywhere!! It was then that I realized that my image was made perfect in His presence. I loved the girl I saw in the mirror and realized that’s who I am. That’s who I keep trying to be like! And that’s when it clicked that it is only in His presence I reflect Jesus in PERFECTION! There is nothing I can do to perfect it. In His presence all my troubles and flaws loose their strength. His love strips away everything that is not me… and it’s only Jesus and me. Today I saw the reflection of Jesus in my face because it was truly me with nothing else added!!

revelation of who He is

When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying,"Who do men say that I, the Son of Man , am?"

So they said, "Some say John the baptist, some Elijah, and others Jerimiah or one of the prophets."

He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?"

Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

Jesus answered and said to them, "Blessed are you , Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you,But my Father who is in heaven.And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of HELL shall not prevail against it.And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and what ever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and what ever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven."

Then He commanded His disciples that they should tell no one that He was Jesus the Christ.

This scripture has just been fascinating to me today! and I wanted to express it to you in the way I have viewed it today! The deity of Christ is a truth known only by divine revelation!! And once we have received this revelation of who Jesus is really is we become a stone of the church and the power of death cannot prevent the advance of the kingdom in our lives!! Nor can it claim victory over you! Also, once we receive the revaltion of who He is He will give us the keys, the authority, to bring heaven to earth... and bind things and loose them!!
